WAY TO GO, ARNIE!!!!!! :D :huggles:

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FIRST JOG  :D

Hi Sarah, Just catching up on here :sweating: as you know I've been away all week, so glad to see that arnie is doing so well :huggles: and so glad that you are feeling better too :huggles:

Give arnie a gentle hug from me will you ? xXx

amazing ! isn't your little Arnie just a champion, so nice to 'hear' the joy in your posts now, glad to hear you're all over the flu as well, things are looking up !

Hi guys,

Thanks for the responses. My boy certainly seems to be improving so much quicker now that the stitches are out.

I've given him a gentle hug whippets4eva...thanks (hope you had a wonderful time at the seaside!)

I'm starting to feel more human as the days go by. The flu has just left me with a nasty sniffle now. It's not so bad for me but I think I'm annoying the people that sit near me!!!! :teehee:

I returned to work today and after 2 weeks had forgotten what the trains were like. A girl steamed into me this morning and nearly knocked me over because I was in her way! Arn't some people just plain nasty!

have a great day everyone.

x

Dear Sarah, i am so pleased that your arnie is doing the things he is doing just shows how resilient they are, as for the jog well done, there is no stopping him now, best wishes and don't be going anywhere

Thanks Debbie, and can I just say that I love your pics...your little one is sooooo cute! What a beautiful smiley face.

Guess who was waiting to go out when I got home last night!!!! Arnie was raring to go and so I took him for a gentle walk around the block...he was having none of it! He bobbed along at full speed and showed me exactly where he wanted to go! SO proud of him.

Hope everyone's having a great day.

Well my day has been brightened by reading your posts about the lovely Arnie. I'm so glad all is going well with him, and he is eager to go out for walks again. Also glad you are sticking around with us mad people - you're one of us now :huggles:

Great to hear about Arnies progress . His story and yours would be an inspiration to anyone going through the same thing

June, Thank you for saying that! As for sticking around...I've been looking for a bunch of mad people to talk too for the longest time! This site really makes me smile :)

Hula, K9 has helped me get through this and I will be here if anyone else needs advice on how to cope with it.

i am so glad he is getting back to his usual self i think Alison (hula) is right you need to get him a girlie for company

He certainly seems to be....Debbie, I'm just about feeling human again, I don't think my nerves can cope with him 'falling in love' at the moment! :)

aw how could you do that to him, he needs a girl friend :))

Hi Sarah

read through what ive missed and I knew Arnie would bounce back and feel better in the long run.

You need to get a long nose dog now, a pal for Arnie, he would love a wee friend and im sure you would to.

Susan :D

Oh yes!!! The pressure is building to get a girlfriend for Arnie

I think I shall PM you a link :teehee:

I'm dead chuffed that Arnie now seems to be in training for the London Marathon ;) :D

Okay, okay, okay...you can all get it out of your head that Arnie needs a girlfriend! He can't even wee on 3 legs yet, let alone start dating! :teehee:

Took him for another 'jog' last night and he tried 3 times to lift his left back leg...problem is, he lost the front left....there I was trying to explain to him that if he lifts his back right he may be able to balance better! I would love to have been behind me! A couple gave me a very strange look because I was practically sitting on the pavement and showing him how to lift his back right...I'm getting quite the name for myself around my way!

I think his steps are being delivered today! How exciting!

Jane...thanks for the link, made me cry! :)

See all these gorgeous fleece coats for sale , if you had a little girlie you could buy one :-

Don't know much about boy dogs but I think they like to pee against something so would it be possible to walk him so that the leg you want him to lift is near the hedge , tree etc at least just now ?

Hula, you're a genius!!!! Maybe all I need to do is walk in the opposite direction so his pee pee leg is against the wall! Either that or I need to learn to walk backwards!!!

This little exchange has just made me laugh out loud! It is so obvious if you think about it - but none of us did - except you Hula!!!
