    :lol:Oh, and he has found another benefit to not having a shoulder blade (apart from being able to lick his 'bits'), he has discovered that if he can get the momentum going to chase his tail....he can catch it!!!!! Imagine his shock when after 10 years of spinning and spinning and getting nothing, he then manages to get a whole mouthful of tail! My screams alerted him to the fact that he was about to lose the tip of his tail and I had visions of me waiting in the vets with a 3 legged dog with no tail!
Once again my K9 friends you have made me smile! Thank you all so much for the wonderful birthday wishes.
Arnie had a great day and celebrated by not only going up the stairs but coming down as well!

So, a happy birthday but an exhausting one! We had a jog round the block last night and he finished it off with a nice big cuddle on the sofa under a blanket with his Mum watching Sex in the City! What more could a dog want!
Have a great day everyone!

PMSL!!!!
In dog years, Arnie is 70 ........ can you imagine how a 70 year old man would behave if he suddenly discovered he had the same flexibility as Arnie now has? (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)
pmsl at you sarah ,you do say some funny things Aliens :alien:  your posts always cheer me upDebbie, he's not a great SITC fan but he will cuddle under any circumstances!
Well, we took another huge step forward today. Took Arnie to a local field and had big plans to let him off the lead but I bottled out
I just couldn't do it. I was so afraid that he would run too fast and hurt himself/someone would let their dog attack him/he would get tangled in bushes/aliens would spot him and kidnap him (okay a bit extreme!) and just about anything that else I could possibly worry about!
So, we took a wander around the field (at least I had the extendable lead!) and he thoroughly enjoyed himself...as did my 18 month old who decided that it would be a good idea to roll in the mud!
Arnie is now fast asleep in his bed and looking very happy!
Glad I can cheer someone up!pmsl at you sarah ,you do say some funny things Aliens :alien:  your posts always cheer me upDebbie, he's not a great SITC fan but he will cuddle under any circumstances!
