That was Hazel who posted that Karen, honest

PMSL thats the one.Poor old Sean Mitchel needed the parachute. It was dark when he left, the night before the show and all I remember is the Ahhhhhh...... as he walked out the door  poor bugger was limping all the next day :- .

George parked it in his works carpark once and when he went to it later, there was an advertisement for chip, burgers, pegs and lucky heather on the door.He couldn't understand why we all laughed at the bloody thing  It had a name too the kids called it the big yellow fun bus.

Brill pics Karen. :) I definitely think Geoff should go back to wearing the leather waistcoat, very stylish.

I love this topic

Paul James always run his dogs in the Hurdle Racing at Chatsworth when Mary & myself ran it.He was such a great guy full of the craic. When you run things like the hurdles you needed folks like Paul to get the crowd going he loved it.He brought a young lad down from Wales a few times he was great with him.Happy Times. The Owd Mule!!

Thought i'd add this one
Nice one Karen the judge in the middle Bob Hurley what a lad he was and a good mate.Bob had a very good dog called Ross worked him hard. But in the summer months Bob would do a lot of Lurcher promotion work at the shows. He even would turn up dressed like a tramp with rabbits hanging from his belt.Wandering around the main rings trying to sell em and sending Ross in and picking dummys up.Down south at Blake Hall we got the police involved at Bob got escorted out of the main ring. But it was all put up Bob travelled up and down the country for the love of the lurcher. He used to go up to Scotland for the NLRC obedience trials. The lads would rough it a bit putting tents up in barns ect, well our Ben told us that a few of the lads went out in the morning for a mooch about. When they got back old Bob had lit a fire and the bloody barn floor started to catch fire.Years of sheep shit smouldering away John O,Keefe having a fit it was his permision .They all had to pee on it to put it out no chance Bobs old dog Ross bless him ended up retired he lamped him one night. And up gets a fox Ross was off the slip and off he goe,s there was a pallet in the feild and Ross,s leg goes through it.Nearly severed the owd dogs leg off Bob being the man that he was spent thousands on the owd lad.One of the great men who allways tried and gave so much.Loved the man.The Owd Mule
