A traumatic night, Talli came in at 1am from a wee with a black discharge, she started having contractions at around half 3 and 2 hours later we were in the vets having an emergency c-section.

Result being that Talli has brought home 3 very premature boys, two blue/white parties and a blue.

The pup lost (also a boy) seems to have been the cause of the premature labour with significant damage.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for the little lads, they aren't feeding yet but seem content with the warmth and attention Talli gives them and she's content to snooze with them all tucked safely under her leg.

sorry to hear that you had a bad time,i know how you must feel,the one we lost was bent around the uterus,also a boy

it brought a premature birth on and she was so badly bruised, we got it all taken away.it seems to be a common thing these early births

our vet was telling me..but look to the bright side you got 3 nice pups there, and all the best with them. :thumbsup:

So sorry about Tali's hard time and the loss of one puppy, but good luck with the little boys. Hope they go from strength to strength and Tali recovers well. :luck:

So sorry to read this ...the black sluggy discharge is always a sign of a dead decaying pup and infection

Although the ramain pups are premature keep them warm and hold them on the teat to feed as they will be weak

Hang in there Judith, your care and natures luck will be critical to the little chaps. Hope Tal is recovering OK . If there is owt we can do just let me know. I won't be disturbing you, as I know it'll be busy at your end . Fingers crossed and all our best wishes Kay and the lads xxxxxxxxxx
 
Good luck got fingers and toes crossed for the little guys. Lets hope all is well and they go from strength to strength.
 
thanks kay elise up will keep working hard to get some fluids in them but they are quite under developed
