When I must leave you for a while
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years
But start out bravely with a gallant smile
And for my sake and in my name
Live on and do all the things the same
Feed not your loneliness on empty days
But fill each...
:o It must have been awful, but it's the best thing that could have happened - never had a dog with an abcess but my cat got into a fight once and ended up with 2. Once they :x 'burst' :x she made an almost miraculous recovery.
:huggles: Give Phoebe a hug from me and Ellie :huggles:
I had a GSD Bitch who always had morning sickness when in whelp - she would nearly starve for about 3 - 4 weeks, then eat like food was going out of fashion for the rest of her pregnancy. They are strange creatures aren't they? She wouldn't touch her fave treat of cheese either!
Never had any...
Thanks for your lovely comments and thanks to Sharon for posting pics for me.
I took her to see Lyn on Wednesday last week - she was reunited with two of her brothers. How sweet to see them together!
Was hoping to get some up to date snaps on our walk today, but it has been monsoon season...
Finally took Ellie (Ch Nevedith Kfa Kraka x Ch Cobyco Can't By Me Love) to ringcraft last night - bit slack of me as she is 6 months old today!
Anyhow, she did the whole rabbit in the headlights thing when we got there at first and wouldn't go up the mat but after about 20 minutes (and a big...
I agree - I had the same with a GSD. 2 cc's and 3 rcc's
I think if it's the last one they're waiting for, 3 reserves should count as a cc. We all know that some judges take pleasure in making a dog up whilst others delight in preventing it!! (JMHO!)
It does vary with them
they are both quite thin (but I don't really have any basis for comparison)
They are not sticking up like my Shepherds ears, but the one is coming forward and looks like a manchester terrier.
It does fold back when she smiles!
Hi
Ellie is now nearly 6 months old and her one ear is not sitting properly at all. Her left one is like a whippet and her right one is like a Manchester Terrier most of the time.
I know that their ears can be a bit 'here and there' whilst they are teething, but should I be worried yet?

What's interesting is that on all of the illustrations, the scapula spine is immediately in the middle of the scapula.
In reality, bones develop differently in every dog so the actual spine of the scapula can be at a slightly different angle.
So, where do you 'measure' the angle? If you...
We have 3 German Shepherds and Ellie whippet gets on with them all. We also have a little old Shih-Tzu called Tetley and Ellie is just a bit too fast for her!
Have pics, but can't seem to get them to load.
Can anyone help? How do I re-size them so that they are small enough??
Julie
What an awful story!
I think that there are lots of lonely people who throw themselves into showing and that's when it becomes an obsession.
I know that when I got divorced some years ago, I really only had my dogs. It could have been easy to fall into the same situation - had no spare money...
Hi
I came along to NCWC yesterday to have a look - thought you deserved BPIS. Lovely puppy and a proper baby. Not over-finished like some can be.
Well done
