:o Think that's a bit harsh - Whitecross. Remember these weren't the size of Whippets, they were only little Papillons and to see a chair and other stuff come hurtling towards you would be pretty frightening to me, bit like Blackpool Tower falling down on you when you were just stood there...
-_- Isn't it a sad life, here's me working my fingers to the bone and all I can hear from my bed is a load of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's coming from BJ. Talk about spoilt!
Anyhow here is the critique from the Horley judging.
Horley Canine Society – Sunday 19th February, 2006...
Seems like I struck a chord here, quite a few people approached me at SYWC today and said they'd read it and had experienced something similar at shows. It's good it's got people talking, let's hope the idiot to whom the children belong has also read it! Be interesting to see if it makes him...
:D If you have read your dog papers this week, you might have read the letter that I sent regarding kids behaviour at shows.
Was chuffed to bits that it earned me Letter of the Week in Dog World, can't wait for me vouchers to arrive so I can spend them at Crufts! £20 for just a few minutes...
No, No, No, a bitch should never be taken to a show in season, no matter how near the end she may be. It is so unfair on the males. They only have to have a sniff in the air and they know. Experienced stud dogs may not bother so much, but young untested dogs go crackers, which when you've...
I use Avon for Kids, Strawberry as I had run out of what was my usual - Tea Tree Oil shampoo, and it was immediately to hand.
A) It is so gentle on their skin, no dandruff, scurf or whatever as it does not overdry the skin
B) Because it leaves the coat shiny and in good nick
C) Cos it smells...
Very pleased to have been asked to man the Whippet breed stand on the Discover Dogs bit on the Saturday.
It's a very tiring day, but it is great seeing and talking to everybody, as well as being a good opportunity to educate the masses about our beloved breed and put to bed some of the myths...
 I use a similar size cage as Seraphina, one of the metal ones, for two reasons.
1. You can put a padlock on it if you have to leave your dogs to go to the loo etc and
2. I saw a whippet rip one of those fabric ones to pieces at SKC last year. If we hadn't been at the next bench...
 Oh yes, Jasbri, I judged Cavaliers and Italians down there last year and I had everything on it was possible to have and will do the same again this time. Looking forward to it whatever the weather.
:) Just got my entry details today. 28 Whippets are entered, so I hope they all turn up.
Additionally, my toy entry is 15 Papillons, 20 Pomeranians, 9 Long Chi's although only one Smooth Coat.
But that'll do me, cos it'll keep me out of mischief. :p
 They've put the...
:- " No the lucky lot have me judging down at Ardingley next Sunday (19th). Already got me long johns, thermal knickers and vests packed plus a nice big coat just to round off a fetching outfit.
 Well done Aslan, welcome to the mad world of IG owners (or nearly owners). She is sure a pretty lady and as the breed standard in the UK says, aloof!
(w00t) I'm tight and don't buy anything from Crufts as the prices are loaded and you can get the same quality if you look elsewhere, especially on the internet. Someone has to pay for their stand fees!
When I have been there last thing on the last day, as I record interviews for our local...
:- " :p :p :p Oh boy, is he going to take time, bless him. Tee Hee  Wish I'd been there! Note that hubby was conspicuous by his absence, but Blue was ably accompanied by Tess (who I bet was slightly bemused by all of this, but she is devoted to Blue and he likewise) also young...
