WOW Skippy  - think you need to come out of the bush & get some anger management councilling :b Didn't realise that Alex had wives in the mix of the creation of his offspring puppies  He is a very clever boy a bit like his mummy who's kids are most often referred to as Lulu children (w00t)

Grow up! And at least if you are going to be so angus then at least make yourself known who you are instead of hiding behind an anonymous name. <_<

Hi Lynda, What do you mean about "if you are going to be so angus"!!? Hope that is not referring to us in anyway???? Doesn't sound too good if it is?

Congrats to all winners in all shows around Oz!

Angie

Hey Angie

NO!! Not at all!!!!!!!- angus is teenage slang for angry - my kids always refer to someone grumpy/angry as being angus... I need to ask them how to spell it :b No reference in the slighest to you guys... good lesseon to use proper english on the list ;)

WE'RE HOME!!! Back to a keyboard where I can type properly!! I am sooo exhausted!!! So too are the kids!! I opened the trailer door and they just about fell out!!

We decided to stay at a place in Kirribilli ... not a smart move and we obviously don't know Sydney very well!!! We were literally less than a block away from where our Prime Minster lives!! It had fabulous views of the opera house and was walking distance to the foot of the Sydney Harbour bridge, but needless to say that whilst the room was great (you were allowed to bring the dogs inside) ... parking was an absolute nightmare and it wasn't very friendly for driving around with a dog trailer attached!! We managed to get a car park out front on Wednesday night big enough for the trailer but on Thursday after the show our luck didn't hold out and after driving in circles for a half hour, Dad did his block and made an executive decision to leave early and get a motel on the way home!! We managed to find a place in Liverpool which had more friendly parking facilities!!

As I said previously it was great to see different dogs and catch up with those we know and to meet those we didn't!! I think that Toni is on to a good thing with those puppies ... they are beautiful and the pressure is on John to win a deserved Puppy in Group on Sunday!! :D :D :D I'll have my fingers crossed for you and hope that you bring home the goods!!

Next year hopefully we'll make it up for the specialties as well ... this year it just wasn't possible with work commitments etc as I've taken so much time off already (mind you its owing to me), but I think I've upset them anyway so I may as well have just done it!! :p

Cheers

Elly

Sounds like a blast of a week. I grew up in Richmond (dad was in the airforce), in NSW, bet it has changed alot over the years.

Maybe next year but can't say for sure. Congrats to everyone.

pffft!!!! AS IF!!! I was the chief driver in Sydney ... he was the one yelling out instructions to me!! "The lanes ending move over .... oh hang on ... we need to exit ... change back" All in peak hour bloody traffic!! :D

Or my personal favourite ... when the GPS had a brain freeze and told me "Turn left right"!! What the??!! Which way was that??!!

I don't like GPS. I borrowed one for a few days and it was telling me to turn left into Corio bay a few times....I don't think so. I don't want to buy one now.

Doncha love back seat drivers :clown:

Results from todays shows - we had 2 All Breeds shows, one in the usual format of BOG, RUBOG & the age of group awards & then the other with the system of Group 1, 2, 3 & 4 & POG. We only entered the 1st show as my friend judged hounds in the afternoon. So pleased with Sage as she was run for BIS that eventually was won by my friends beautiful english pointer - rubis to a stunning pug.

Not doing any dog shows on your holiday? Won't be that much of a blast then .....

Seriously, have a great time over there Lynda, and congrats on Sage's BIG & OIS.

ENG. CHAMPION SPINNEYHILL CINNERMAN AT HAMMONDS (imp UK). Congratulations to Raymond & David on their new girl. Best news is on the way home today they stopped at Greensbrough Show & won BEST IN GROUP. :) Judge was Mrs. Wilmott a whippet/sighthound specialist.

No Lana, no shows... the kids did ask if we could drop into one as our friends daughter has just been up to the US with her pointer and raved on about how fantastic the shows are, my girls are in absolute awe as to how many shows are on tap up there - they just didn't quite get it that their most likely isn't a show by Disney  Why (w00t)

And also hear Master Ashton picked up the dog CC yesterday under Mrs Wilmott  Will look forward to seeing some piccy's of the new girl who has bolted out of quarantine with a super start to her show career - well done to Ray & David

Lynda

Congratulations to Ray and David on their group win with Misty ... she looked liked she'd been handled by Ray forever and just did everything so well and was an absolute pleasure to watch!!

Dog CC went to Shenace All in at Hogarth

Not sure on Res CC

Bitch CC and BOB was Misty

Res bitch CC and RUBOB was Ch. Windyle Irish Lullaby who was also Aust Bred. in group

and Ozrhode baby dog went baby in group as well so a good day for whippets... wish I'd entered, I didn't realise that it was a whippet specialist until entries had closed!! (Idiot!!)

Results at the Sydney Royal have just come through on an Australian show list reporting that the whippet has been victorious, winning best in group... Congratulations to Bruce Lyck and Emma Marshall for their win. Best in Show is judged later today.

Poor old cockroaches can't even win their own Royal- Qlders and Vics taking the major honours. Congrats again to Dilly and her connections. Can imagine that someone from above would have been looking down today with a proud smile.

Well done Dilly and Emma (her very capable handler) and to her owner Bruce - what a fantastic win.

Bet there are sore heads this morning.

I'm sure Gary is right by saying Angela would be looking on very proudly and maybe had a little chat with the man up stairs :)
