Clangers are still the best but any other old people remember Pogles Wood or The Herb Garden or even Hectors House.
Whippets Rule shuffles off dressed as a Clanger, whistling softly to herself.
Yes, I'm afraid I do. Didn't like Pogles Wood much, but loved the Herbs. Parsley the lion, and Dill the dog, very fat feathery owl called Sage, and the Chives - oh those were the days :teehee:

Ooh yes, I loved the Herbs too, but the Clangers were definitely my favourite ... I think my user name says it all lol (and yes I know she was really the iron chicken but I got stuck with the metal chicken for a nickname after a long night in the pub as a student ... hic !)

Little know fact but some folks have dared to suggest that the Clangers weren't real ... see here.

Annie

PS On the subject of dog food I have a friend with an animal feed shop who has toured the factories of many of the manufacturers and bases her recommendations on what she saw there. She'll sell Skinners, Burns, CSJ, Viatalin and Techni-cal but not James Wellbeloved or Eukanuba.

My old girl who we lost recently at almost 16 had a very sensitive tummy. She could only eat Hill's I/D food which is mega expensive in smaller bags - larger bags would have lasted too long. I tried various other diets for sensitive stomach, but none worked - until I tried Vitalin Sensitive Lamb and Rice - she did well on it for the last few years of her life

What about Camberwick Green, and Mrs Honeyman and her poodles - oh and Chigley :teehee:
