aww thanks everyone for your kind words and concern and for the lovely pms  :huggles: well me and blue slept on the sofa last night and he had a good night woke once to go out for a pee but seemed comfortable ,got up this morning and he seemed like he was in a bit of pain as he kept rubbing his paw over by his eye area so i gave him more pain killer ,and he seemed to settle after half hour just got bk from vets and ther very pleased with him and said he seems fine and doesnt seem to be anything outa place apart from little bump on his face and he was probably sore around his eye area and to keep giving him the pain relief and  to take him back on tuesday for a check up  :sweating: he was very alert in the vets barking his head of at some big furry dog  and seemed his old self  :huggles: and as somone stated in earlyer post he was lucky the horse didnt have shoes on or it could have been alot worst ,so that will be a lesson learn by me that no matter how well your dogs behave around live stock you still can never be to carfull and i will make shure in future that we give them a very wide berth
Really glad he's on the mend now Nicky. :huggles:

I'm so glad Blue is on the mend, head injures can be very scarey. I had a shire stand on my foot once and that hurt like h**l! I guess the lesson to be learnt is no matter how much you trust your dogs can you actually trust the livestock(!). xx

Well Merlin seemed to learn his lesson and won't go anywhere near them after his experience, he now just barks at horses (or anything bigger than a dog) from afar!
