I have no bend dogs so this is just MO. If a dog ,no matter what size is registerd with the bwra. Then that dog is registerd for life and every effort should be made by the committee to ensure every registerd dog can race.

if youre looking for they answer it quite clearly states it on page 20 of januarys whippet news it states
wherever possible!! that whippet traps would be used!

Correct it says that T Cooper pointed out that in 2003 the proposal was voted in that scratch dogs be allowed run at any BWRA event if they can fit into the existing standard whippet traps. All future BWRA events, bends and straights will be run out of whippet traps whenever possible, as voted on at the 2006 reps meeting

I was at that meeting as a rep and asked for it to be worded that they would run out of traps that were provided which for the following year has been the case, now that seems to have been left out of the wording.

Just been thinking about the word TRAPS and another word keeps jumping out at me, think about, but please don't call anyone on here it lol

spoke to rodders (karen)months ago her harvey is a true 50% whippet /greyhound. he is just a big boy he has out grown the whippet traps she said she was lucking foward to running him on the bends out of greyhound traps what does she do now.i would think this would be said for lots of folks .

they bring there dogs up no where to race, gutted, i would be devistated if i had a biggun.the biggun is a fantastic class can the brains dept not sort it out differently

If you feel strongly about this subject then please speak to as many people as you can and get them to pm me with their complaint and I will send them all in to the BWRA at once. Be prepared to make a stand for what you belive in, after all it is not the BWRA who decide what happens it is the members. Start sending the pms, none as yet.

i thought this was a sport where the welfare of the dog comes first i use to have a big 36lber who alway banged his back when coming out off the trap what are trying to do to the bigger dogs cripple them if this is the case i think what young simpson said get out and lets all go greyhound racing :- "

As Mr Boyde said why change something thats not broken...seems like its because certain scr dogs are to fast

WE NEED TO GO FORWARD NOT CHASE PEOPLE AWAY

I don't own a scr dog at present but give Gary Farmer and all BWRA Members who have Scr dogs 100 % backing ...why does it always seem like its pick on the no limit they pay the same money to race there dogs as everyone else.
