HOW MANY BWRA BENDS IS THERE IN ANY ONE CALENDER YEAR, AS APPOSED TO STRAITS ?

at the end of the day we are all payed up members so we should (by contract)be allowed to run. there were no rules stating we couldnt use ghd traps we we joined the bwra and the dogs are registered for life...............

more PMS please and dont forget to address them to the BWRA not me

we dont want any excuses.

rant:

AND LOTS OF THESE

GARY

I wonder if they'll be taking the whippet traps to West Houghton(the Bend Bonanza)

NO GEOFF THIS IS ABOUT STOPPING A SAID DOG GOING FOR ANOTHER TITLE

news just in

B W R A have new motto

IF YOU CANT BEAT THEM BAN THEM

IF YOU CANT BAN THE THEM CRIPPLE THEM

GARY

And what about the poor sods that are left to race minus the ones that can't get in the traps.Which ever owner of the dog that wins then, will never have the satisfaction of saying my dog beat all the top dogs, and will everybody watching think "oh well it wouldn't have won if ....... ...... was running" where's the prestige in that

IF THERE IS SO FEW BWRA BEND MEETINGS, THEN WHY DO THE BWRA WANT TO UPSET MOST OF THE SCRACH RACERS, BY USING WHIPPET TRAPS.. AT THE END OF THE DAY, THERE ARE GOOD AND BAD DOGS AT ALL WEIGHTS.. AND LET ME TEL YOU A ..7 EIGHTS,. GREYHOUND BLOOD, DONT MAKE A DOG ANY BETTER THAN SEY A 3 QUATER BREED...IT IS ALL DOWN TO LUCK ON THE MATEING... BUT TO ALOW PURE GREYHOUNDS TO RUN IN THE NO LIMIT WOULD BE BLOODY STUPID,.. COS I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY SCRACH DOG IN TEN YEARS OF NONE PED RACING, THAT WOULD GET ANY WHERE NEAR AN OPEN CLASS., OR GRADE 1 GREYHOUND.. EVEN YOUR SO CALLED,.. 7 EIGHTS,. ..... IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE A 40LB SC DOG COMES ALONG AND WHOOPS ALL THE SCRACH CLASSES....IT HAS HAPPEND BEFORE,.. AND IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN..

Just thought I would let you know SHAMELESS is on in 5 mins

Good night :D

I would presume the use of whippet traps on the bends is at national events only, ie BWRA Tyrone / BWRA Champs etc as BWRA Regional opens are run solely by that regions committee (none of the national committee have ever come up to our open anyway). After speaking to our Secretary and Chairman today i can tell you that the North West Region WILL NOT be using whippet traps at our bend open at Westhoughton.

Hope that helps

Michelle, when we put those funny pictures of the protesters :D on this topic we did consider about the up and coming youngsters who come on K9. Being the parents of 3 sons and 3 daughters, also having 3 granddaughters, we thought, would this be suitable for grandchildren to see. No private parts where being exposed just funny fat bottoms.Hazel laughs at my bottom every time I come out of the bath :D

Looking back on the Chit Chat topics I found one of your topics march 7th 2005 6.47pm Name the animal by Michelle, can you guess what it is and what do you do with it?(quote).Compare my pictures to your picture. Can you honestly say that mine were more distasteful to young k9ers than yours?

I'm not trying to be clever, but fairs fair!!

you see BWRA common sense prevails

cheers vicki :D

just wondering if the BWRA are useing the block traps that they used at swallowsnest have they been modified to stop them from jumping 4/6 inches off the ground if not there will be problems.

p.s.if not it would be a good idea to hire one of them fat girls to sit on them to stop this happening :- " :- " :p
