East Anglian Whippet Country Club is pleased to invite you to take part in their second Open event of this season and compete in The Dent Masters Trophy

Little Dog Drove Holbeach St Johns Lincs PE12 8RR

32 dog stake

KC reg. whippets. one year old at least. not to exceed 21 inches.

A zig zag course of approx. 400 metres

£10 per dog

card £1 payable on the day. Children under 15 free

Additional information: The winner will receive the Dent Masters Trophy to be held for one year, to be presented at the club AGM and luncheon 16 May 2009.The winner will also receive a one year membership of the club.All finalists will receive rosettes. There will be a purse for first round losers and if time permits, a plate for second round losers.

All whippets will be called to slips just once. Failure to arrive following the call will result in elimination.

It is very important that if you are running late prior to arrival you must please telephone Andrea to let her know. The number for this is 07717 134331

Dogs to run in normal coursing collars

muzzles optional.

Directions:

Holbeach St Johns is 5-6 miles from the A17 at Holbeach. Take the B1168 to Holbeach St Johns( following signs to St Johns Airfield ) Little Dog Drove is a no through road and the running ground is close to the end of that road on the left just before Lazy Acre Caravan Park. Please park neatly on the field and ensure that litter is not left.

I think you'll find Tanya has added the correct name for

one of the runners, it does ask for KC name :thumbsup:

yes the highisland affix was left off Double Diamond ( Highisland Double Diamond) it does state that KC reg names must be used when entering and my emmas reg name was spelt incorrectly , Highisland Thalftan Bleu :thumbsup:

Yeh OK . You might like to understand that the draw is passed to me over the telephone and therefore misspellings regrettable as they are , are indeed inevitable particularly where the names of some dogs are somewhat obscure. Most of us accept this.

kindly dont take that tone with me , i am simply correcting mistakes made by whatever means , i think you of all people would know how easy it is to make a mistake , therefore if a mistake is made and someone is able to correct it then so be it , called being helpful :- "

also oakmoorehill is spelt as i have written, not as you have which his breeder has just pointed out :thumbsup:

as i have also been passed the draw over the phone so , yes i do understand , but really you should refer to your list of numbered runners given to you by andrea , this was set up to aid and assist those helping andrea and the EAWCC :thumbsup:
