I don't think its hayfever clair its this cold bug going round just taking ages for her to shift it, tixilix and calpol are not doing anything, was up with her all night she couldn't catch her breath inbetween coughing, so i sat in the bathroom with the shower on steaming up the place, worked for a bit i must say

Morning all :D

Had an eventful evening last night with Hannah, we had to take her round to one of our friends who is a doctor at the pratice we go to, as she couldn't catch her breath inbetween coughing so the other half phoned David and asked if we should take her to the hospital but he said bring her to him first, well got there he listened to her chest and then put her on a portable nebulizer, which eased her breathing, and then gave her some steriod tablets which helped even more, bloody lucky we have a friend who is a doctor as i was a wreck by that time, he gave me a perscrition for a nebulizer and tablets, so i had a sort of good nights sleep only being woke a few times, hopefully thats the bad day over with, still got to go to the surgery today to have her checked out but fingers crossed all will be on the mend,

Hope you lot have a lovely day today as it looks like its gonna be sunny all day :D

oh poor little bird :( she hasnt got asthma has she?? mind you they said that with nance when she was hannah's age..exactly the same situation..couldnt breathe so i whizzed her to A&E where she was on a nebulizer and steriods...she was fine the next day apart from the ventolin sending her into the tazmanian devil  oh hugs to wee sweets debbie...hope she has a better day today..and you of course..you must have been out of your mind

no its not asthma, thank god, just broncill where she's not getting rid of the congestion, i personnally think all these cough's, colds and flu are becoming more and more resistant or something it seems when you get one the next time its bloody worse,

such a worry isnt it? hate when they are ill...i remember years back charlie had a raging temp....looked terrible..the gp said it was nothing to worry about..keep giving him calpol...well he just was getting worse so i took him to see another gp who took one look at him and told me to get him to hospital cos he had pneumonia..i couldnt believe it..by this time charlie was delirious...their dad was working away at this time so i was on my own completely terrified..i have never seen that gp since..he done that to a mate of mine too..said it wasnt serious and her girl had pneumonia too......how he is still practising i dont know

morning poor hannah ,hope she is soon on the mend :huggles: :huggles: ,lee suffered with croup ,he first got it at 3 months and finally grew out of it by 5

chucking it down here ,but on the plus side i won £10 on the lottery :D

just having a milky coffee before i clean up..that is all i seem to do  constantly tidy up...my kids are about as helpful as a chocolate teapot  hoping that de-shedding dog brush comes today cos slip is losing hair right, left and centre...honestly the hair flies everywhere..flynnie is just as bad but lil doesnt lose any..she is like the whippets

nice one trace!!!! i keep saying that one day i will win the lottery but it would help if i actually done it

some gp's are crapp, warren my son was really ill being sick really hot couldn't get off the sofa, doctor came out and said it was nothing to worry about too just give him water ffs he was throwing that up too, so took him to the hospital and it turned out he had food poisoning from the school dinners, so didn't see that doctor again

this gp at my surgery always has loads of apps.....no one wants to see him..he is really smug as well...got a big bushy tash and bouffy hair..looks like a 70's porn star..luckily the rest of them well make up for it
