Need Positive Thoughts For Polly

I know I'm probably worrying over nothing, but I had to take Twiggy to the vet last week and while we were there I asked him to look at a lump that had come up on Polly's neck. It is rubbed a bit by her collar, so I thought it needed checking. :unsure:

He said he didn't want to worry me (HE DID!!) - but it needed to come off ASAP and she is booked in for first thing Wednesday morning.

I have asked to stay with her until she is asleep as she is very nervous at the vets ever since he cut her claws and she was in shock for 5 hours afterwards -she collapsed in the weaiting room and wasn't really back to normal until the next day.

I'm hoping to be able to wait until she comes round and take her straight home, to save driving there twice (my arms are very weak and painful from the MS at the moment).

Please send her positive thoughts on Weds morning - we both need all the help we can get!! :wacko:

Here she is on her 5th birthday a couple of weeks ago (I wasn't well enough to post at the time).

Stan is very scared of the vets too, so when he had to have his nose scoped I stayed with him until the sedation had really taken hold, so I'm sure they will be happy for you too, although it may be a bit of a wait for her as they like to keep them in for a few hours after normally. Anyway hope it is nothing to worry about :luck:
