Why is it so important to have to breed back to greyhounds??....................surely the reason why we needed the proposal in the first place is the fact that there are a certain group of people who continue to breed back to greyhounds, without consideration for the future of whippet racing.
chris

P.S Marie and I wondered if there are any threatening phone calls, because we are onto page 37 now, could the person please do a bit of deep breathing as well, thanks x
CHRIS I FIND THIS COMMET VERY OFFENSIVE

ARE YOU SAYING IT IS ME OR ONE OF MY FRIENDS IS THE PERSON WHO MADE PHONE CALLS

I HAVE KEPT THIS TO TOPIC

AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO AND WOULD LIKE A REASON WHY YOU WOULD ADD SUCH A COMMENT TO THIS TOPIC

GARY
Im very sorry if you found Chris's remark offensive Gary. I know all she was doing was trying to lighten the mood, nothing derogatory to you or any of your friends. In fact Im sure any connection between you and threatening calls never entered her head. Sometimes you try to do a funny Ha Ha and when its typed it isnt taken as it was meant....apologies :)

Lighten up you lot  lets wait and see what the BWRA committee sort out they've already stated that cards are on hold till they look into it so lets give them a chance

Its a pity more of you didn't bother to attend the AGM and have your say where it matters I asked at the reps meeting and the AGM for them to allow for pups already born and pups due under the rules as they stood at the time if only for the welfare of these pups BUT there was no one else there willing to back it up on the day

Just had a quick scan through the non ped dog feature and this new rule by my reckoning will have an effect on 7 of the 20 dogs on there, one of those being a 16lber.

only asking vicky who are the seven and dont shoot me down in flames

Hi

Just one thing i would like to know is if the topic of the pups that where born before the AGM

was talked about at the Reps Meeting and at the AGM and you did not get support from anyone else

then shame on them

The way i have read the posts from people that attended the AGM was this problem had not come to light until after the meetings

Now i belive the majority of people have no problems with the new rules

only the need to implerment them over a staggered time period to allow any matings or pups bred up to the AGM

being given a chance to race.

i agree the rule was voted in and should stand but i think starting from the agm date and there after nothing bred or mated before that date  this should keep most happy :D

yes your right vicky but i take it that is 7 to 20 dogs that canot be mated to a greyhound

I alone can think of at least 5 litters of pups already born that this will effect

not all these pups would have been registed as some have gone to pet homes but thous 5 litters alone add up to about 28 pups

that at this time cant register

this by my way of thinking is 28 pups that have got a raw deal

i was at both meeting and can say i did'nt hear you bring this up, but like most who attend the meeting its one off the hardness things "hearing " poeple when they are over the other side of the room, and keeping order lol,

i would have backed a start date and do feel that many at both meeting would have, i'm sure this will get sorted like someone already said we voted the top table in and ask them to stay for the next 5 years "bet they are so glad they excepted " :- so think we should give them the time to think what would be the right outcome

could be really nasty with my answer lol but thats not like me :- so keeping the lighter note  will just ask have'ntyou already used Hellbounds brother and i'm sure they stayed well under the 55lb cap, think the smallist only being 21lb, not sure if that was to 1 of your full greyhounds or 3/4 greyhounds :- you have so many its hard for some to keep a track ;) ;)

i thought this was supposed to be light hearted it dosent sound like it to me so lets kiss and make up or should i say pretend to :p
