sorry i have just caught up with this, i wasnt around yesterday..........im glad parker is still with you, but sorry to hear he had a bad fit

Thanks everyone...Parker is spending the day at the vets tomorrow to have his liver scanned and have more liver tests.

depending on the results of the tests we may take a last attempt at drug control of his fits..he currently is overdosing on phenobarb but we may be able to reduce this when we add potassium bromide tablets for him to try...providing he doesn't react to them,aparently they can cause severe diarrhoea in some dogs but other than permanent diazepam until his body builds up a tolerance( and i feel this would keep him like a zombie)this is our last hope.

it all depends on what the liver tests reveal...I AM SOOOO NERVOUS :b
