thought id give you little update on tia ,well as you know she had xray last friday and they cant find anything on it, she was bk at vets today as shes been same all week really, only now the pain has shifted to her bk end and shes has a bit of trouble getting about ,iv added a vid just in case anybody has seen anything like this before if you look at the other vids iv put on other tread and this one youl get the just of it the vets said somthing about her spinal fluid forget what she called it :b and that shes only ever seen this condition in one other dog in all the years shes been a vet ,but to rule everything else out she put her on anti biotics and more metcam for the pain ,she bk to vets tomoz for a radiograph and bloods ,im so down at the moe i cant bear watch ing her go thou this its breaking my heart poor baby ,if nothing shows on these tests tomoz she will go to a specialist for a spinal tap

thanks hun :huggles: no couldnt do the test today cause STUPID BLOODY ME :rant: forgot to pick poppys breakfast up and she eat half of it and needs to be starved from night before because of the anasetic

Maybe there is a chance it could be a viral infection in the central nervous system, Nicky.

That may explain why it seems to be moving around her body.

Antibiotics would be pointless unless there was a secondary bacterial infection and it would just be a case of time to enable Tia to recover.

She looks well in herself, her coat is shiny, she's eating well and she is moving around, albeit in an odd fashion :blink:

I am keeping my fingers well and truly crossed that your little baby girl gets over this as quickly as possible, hun :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: xx

i know jane im so confused as shes eating like a bloody horse and drinking fine she seems fine in herself no sickness or anything ,apart from the obviouse pain she is in ,its just her mobility and pain thats a worry she been on metacam constantly to control the pain a bit but even wen she has that sometimes shes still in bit pain im at a bloody loss i can tell ya :blink: i think she getting a bit depressed to as she on constant cage rest at the moe .hopfully these tests tomoz will shed some light .

Awww Nicky, this is awful to see her like that and to hear you so worried, I'm sure they'll sort her out though, eating is such a good sign, even if its a bit of a pain when she eats when you don't want her to.

Nicky..you know i think the world of you but part of me wants to shake the life outve ya !

stop thinking pink fluffy thoughts and do what youre told ! Tia is wayyy to heavy for her frame and type..has her illness got anything to do with this ? i seen somewhere she has a big appetite..my love its only as big as youll let it get. I hope to God that she comes thru this, i really do and when she does review your feeding pattern and what ever you feed her as this will help her in the long run.

And when you go to the Vet LISTEN TO WHAT HE TELLS YA not how many collars you can make outve his coat

well to be honest i wouldnt say she is that heavy if thats what she weighs my daisy is 11 kg and angel is 13 or is it that i have 2 fat girlies too :b
