The clip of Pete and Smartie is really nice.

Glad that all seems to be going right with Pete now, :luck: at the vets tomorrow

Millie,

such a cute little dog in the carrier

Well he has had his dressing changed, and was as good as gold  the only thing he does is shake :( and then drag us out as quickly as possible :- " . the leg looks straight but there is swelling so difficult to say how things are. He is seeing the vet who did the op next tuesday for his opinion so we shall see :luck: :luck: . Antibiotics finish at the weekend and analgesia. Hope things improve as hols the first week of September. I will keep you all posted and thanks for the continued support and well wishes :)

Hi Shane,

Good luck when you see the vet next Tuesday. Hope all goes well and his recovery is a speedy one. Hugs and kisses to Pete :huggles:

Kirsty

Pete was good until early evening last night then just wouldn't settle :( , whinning, barking, in his basket then out so we :- " had to play hide the sqeaky toy under the sheep skin until he was (and we were exhusted!)

Love those pictures shane - Pete's eyes in that bed picture says it all. :(

They both look lovely dogs  and Good wishes :luck: for a good result at the vets. :huggles:

Well he had his appointment and saw the vet who did the op, he said things look good joint appears stable and leg more straight :D , has to keep the splint on for another 3 weeks and go back once a week for a dressing change and then we might be brave and take the splint off :( , but only gentle exercise for a few weeks after that :( , but on the whole things are ok :)

Thought Pete had a very unsettled night and spent most of it crying to come upstairs, I was walking him around the garden at 2.30 am :- " , he is still not settled this am and holding his leg up more, may have to go back to vets if things do not settle today, his leg does look sore :( where the sticky plaster coame off so it could be that, fingers crossed :luck:

Fingers and toes crossed :luck: :luck: :huggles:
