Thank you dessie! I can see that you realise how hard work it can be to take care of sick puppies. And how wonderful it is to watch them getting better every day, until they are finally healthy. I almost feel that I don't want to sell anyone from this litter, they have become so dear to me.dessie said:Minna, your puppies are also looking very well now. What an even litter. What is your pick?? It is heartbreaking when they are not well. I remember mine had a really bad tummy bug when they were 8 weeks old and that was bad enough. Bertha (always the chunkiest) went to a bag of bones and they were ill for nearly three weeks because every time they seemed to be getting over it, one of the adults would get some symptoms and cross-infect the puppies again. Ellie and Kamili just stopped eating for about three days but Bertha being Bertha wanted to keep eating and everything just went straight through her. I think, looking back, this was why she seemed to look the worst and the other two recovered quicker.
She's likely to be tucked up on the sofa with them by now!!!malin said:Gosh! You have been active since I last checked in on this thread
Today girl 2 went home with her new family and I'm fretting about how they are doing h34r: = sitting and waiting for the first report ... she is the new owners first whippet.
