For the last 6 weeks I've been following an OU course in digital photography, and one of our first video tutorials this week is how to age and frame a photo using Photoshop Elements. So I thought I'd have a go. :- " It's really complicated and I certainly couldn't do it without the notes, but I'm actually quite pleased with this result. What do you all think?

THIS IS STUNNING GILLIAN

WELL DONE,XX

very good,

the only thing that gives it away is the blanket and tag, as they are new style things,

if the tag was gone and the blanket was maybe knitted, i dont think you would be able to tell that it was photoshopped

Oops, just realised I should have put this in the whippet discussion forum! Silly me. Would it be possible to move it for me please? :b

Well actually, the background is a radiator!! It looks like striped wall paper until you look at the bottom. I didn't really think about it much - I just wanted a go! :) I must have another look for a photo that would look more authentic.

sorry it wasnt a critasism(sp), i ment it as a good thing, that if it hadnt been for the tell tail item in the pic, i dont think i would have known that it was photoshopped, im pretty sure i would have believed it to be an old photo, which means what you set out to do to the photo worked.

i think you'v done a amazing job on it

It's OK - I wasn't taking it the wrong way - a good point which I hadn't really considered! Now I've done one I'd like to do a few more - it's quite good fun seeing how you can change your photos. I think there's a lot more fun things to do in our video tutorials this week so beware!
