just wondering what people here do as regards feeding and walking their whippets. Do you feed a while before walking, just before walking, or afterwards. Im wondering if feeding before or after affects their behaviour when out walking, or whats best for the digestive system.

just wondering if aynone here can advise on a decent brush to get for my whippet. i havnt got one so far as i thought he wouldnt need brushing, but im beginning to think he'd enjoy the attention and the soothing feel. Do your whippets need or enjjoy being brushed? thanks, mark

Yeah that could well be the problem. Never thought of nettles, i assumed they didnt sting dogs. Funny thing is, now hes started sitting funny, with his leg kicked slightly out to the side. Hes walking fine and jumps on the settee ok, and once again he doesnt seem troubled, maybe the nettles...

Do whippets definately NEED coats for the winter? Mine hasnt got one yet and i was wondering if i should get one soon, or can they do without (as ive a feeling he'll try his best to get it off before we get out of the house)
