Obviously passported dogs we know are all under 21" will the others/all dogs be measured before running?

Bl***y H**l I new it was only a matter of time before the Northern contingent made their presence felt (w00t) Greetings to all clog wearers .

This event is of course going to be good but it will be even better with a few trout eaters coming down to the flat lands for some sport with the rest of the world. I am really loking forward to this event. The response is now overwhelming. The EAWCC members are to be well outnumbered methinks. Keep the reservations coming in all coursers

If there is any doubts re size, dogs can be measured. 21 will be the measure.

Good morning everyone. A quick update . Our land secretary has not yet managed to contact the land owner at Holbeach. It is thought that perhaps they have been away. I cannot therefore finally confirm the date but will do so immediately I find out :thumbsup:

Good evening all lure coursers. I can now announce the date of the EAWCC Open. It is to be 29 Sept.2007.

As well as the details I have given, I can also state that there will be a Purse stake for 1st round losers and if time permits there will be a Plate for 2nd round losers.

The winner of the Purse will receive a bottle of Champagne. The winner of the Plate will receive a bottle of Champagne. All finalists will receive a rosette .

Entry to the running ground will be £1 per person for the card which gives the running order and other information. CHILDREN GO FREE.

Al entrants are guarenteed 2 runs at least.

Can I emphasise that the Plate will only go ahead if sufficient time allows.

We anticipate using 2 quad bikes to get as many courses in as possible.

If everything goes to plan, 53 courses will go ahead on this day.

I will now get on and PM those that I can to pass posting details for entry fees etc.

Would everyone please remember to include the details of the dogs as I specified on my earlier post.

Due to the response from non members we are delaying the notifying of our own members in order to accommodate as many non members as possible.
