Deep breaths...

Lets all move on from this now!

In an ideal world it may have been good to do some research beforehand on what was expected of you as an owner. I don't know what the rules and regulations are on a rescue centre adopting out a dog that is already pregnant. I'm sure if it was a British rescue they would offer help with microchipping and health checks etc.

As long as the new owners are aware that their puppy needs microchipping then it can be rectified quickly.

Isn't olive a rescue dog?
yes she is, but this doesn't mean that i can't breed Doris just because her mum is a rescue... they will all go to good homes and none will end up in rescue centres as I'm always happy to have a puppy back if i feel the need to...

The only good reason to breed is to contribute something positive to the breed. There are enough pet dogs in shelters, nobody needs to breed them. Surely the puppies have a neuter contract as Olive was pregnant while at the shelter.

No they don't have a contract. I would like to for her health because it would also be beneficial.

Breeding is not beneficial for a dogs' health in any way, shape or form. Whatever you've heard is a myth. Out of curiosity, which rescue did you get olive through? I haven't heard of a rescue that rehomes dogs without a neuter contract. It's definitely something for you to contact them over before you make a decision.

My opinion is not to breed

It was a local one near where i lived in Spain. Okay i will ask... i wouldn't like to say @JudyN. Why do you want to know?

Breeding ages the bitch. A dog gets no benefit from breeding. Google it;)
what do you mean? Olive is approximately 2 years old so how old is she now mentally after having puppies?
