After a lot of thought and tears, big Al is no longer with the girls and me.

It was a very hard decision to make as i honestly thought he was here

for good..............but it wasn't to be.

I cant begin to explain how i bad i feel as considering the short time he

was here Alba certainly made his presence felt and im missing him

already. But i know ive made the right decision. And im certain that

Alba isn't the type of dog to worry who's providing his food and soft

bed, just as long as he's getting it. So i know he's going to be fine.

Thanks Hilary and Tanya for helping me see things straight and putting

up with me wailing down the phone the last couple of days.

Be happy Big Al im sorry i let you down.

Sometimes life conspires against us, Ann, and I know what you went through and how hard this has been for you :(

Good luck to Alba on his new sofa :luck: :luck: and love to your girlies too

You have done the right thing for all the whippies and it's lovely to know that Tanya and Hilary have been there to help  :huggles:

I know you'll have done what's right for everyone - Alba included - so you've not let him down at all.

Take care :huggles:

it must have been so hard for you Ann,but you have done what is right for you all , and you havent let Alba down :huggles: :huggles:

Ann you have not let him down - you would have done that if you hadn't acted to resolve the situation that you were in with him - You have done the right thing - but I know you must be devastated, so sorry for you all :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

It is never easy to re-home, I have had to do it for the dogs sake twice. Much as I loved them they just did not fit in.

You have to do the best for your dogs and yourself well done for being strong.

:huggles:

It's not always plain sailing in a multi-dog household; sometimes you have to make difficult decisions, for the good of all your dogs. I wish you all the best and your little lad will soon settle in to his new home.

Hugs

Gill

I know so well how you are feeling having had to rehome Ete 18 months ago. It broke my heart and I felt I had let her down

BUT receiving reports of how happy she is in her new home and how happy Fleur is without her I KNOW I made the right decision.

Please dont beat yourself up over it. You have done the best thing for the happiness of all, including yourself. :)

im sure you have done the right thing by everyone, wishing alba all the happiness in the world for him on his new sofa :huggles:

sending lots of :huggles: :huggles: for you and the girls

So sorry to hear it didn't work out with Alba, you really tried your hardest to help him fit in with your other dogs.

Hope he is happy in his new home :huggles: to you and the girls.

Oh Ann, im so sorry :huggles: please dont be so hard on yourself my friend, you have done the right thing for all of you :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

you have done right by all the dogs. Its no use how ever much you love a dog to try and mack it fit in and mixs with your lot if they clash. not all peoepl can live with ech other same goes for dogs. we have had fosters here that didnt fit in and when to better foster or perminat homes that suited them better. use this experiace for albas good and let it help his fined the home that will suit him. you may fined a houes ith a timed shy bitch would be brill as albas so confidnet he could encorage her. use his streagths to match him to his right home and I am sure there will be pleanty out here wanting him. Allways the best thing you can do for a dog you love is to make sure there happy and this way all 3 will be

I totally agree with Jill, and all the other supportive comments on here. I know it is so hard Ann. I once had to rehome a Border Collie puppy because she and my elderly JR just couldn't get on. It really wasn't fair to either dog, but I felt really bad and felt I had let her down. But you haven't let them down if it's the best for the dogs.

Cheer up, Ann ;)

sending hugs - you have made a brave choice that is right for you all x
