Hi

My name is Lisa and I have a 4 month old whippet called Oscar, he's our first whippet (our previous dog was a dalmation) and has made himself very at home. He is very lively and loves people and other dogs. He has wowed everyone at puppy class but for his looks rather than his obedience. Any tips on training would be great.

Our blue whippet, Rubis, (pronounced Ruby) is 7 and is so beautiful and good-tempered that we would like to have one of his puppies.

He was born near Bordeaux in France and spent the first 4 years of his

life there but he has been with us now for 3 years so can understand all the commands in English. He was used as a stud dog in France before we had him so he knows what to do!

However, his pedigree is French and we have been told that no one will want to breed with him as the puppies would not be registered by the kennel club.

We don't actually care about the papers - we just want another adorable, blue if possible whippet who is related to Rubis and would have his temperament.

He is a beautiful grey colour and we would really like to find a bitch the same colour to have a chance of a grey puppy. Jill's whippet, Bluebell, looks just like Rubis.

Can anyone give us any advice?

I used to own German Shepherds.....but after my last one sadly passed away , we decided to change breed ............................. so we now own two WHIPPETS ! :wub: :wub: DIESEL who is 8mnth and HOLLY who is 10mnth. They are the best thing that has happened to us. Diesel is a big blue and white boy and Holly is a small beautiful brindle and white girl. Don`t quite know how to get photos on yet , but I am sure I will get there.

I am the proud slave of Jack & Poppy, 2 rescued 9 week old Springer Spaniel pups.

They are running my partner and I ragged so we are hoping to get some very useful and pragmatic information that may help us

a. Get some sleep

b. Keep a bit of furniture intact

c. stay sane
