Hi everyone,

Fern has had a good night,but the little monkey has pulled her dressing off. (w00t)

She has had some breakfast.

Going to the vet this morning.

Will keep you all up~dated later.

Homer is loving his sister home. :wub:

Hi,

Back from the vet's with Fern.

Fern has had the wound flushed out,it's looking very healthy and clean,thank god.

Fern has to go back again on Monday to have it checked out.

Many thanks again for all your kind words. :wub:

Homer's eye is much better today :thumbsup:

Good news, you must be so glad to have her home. Typical whippet, remove the dressing, pull out the stitches, they really are little monkeys. :cheers:

You can say that again........

Fern did'nt have any stitches because she had lots of trapped air under the skin and muscles ,this was making it hard for her to breath.

I'm so happy she is now home with us all, and growing stronger each day. :wub:

She has to have rest for another 2 weeks,that's going to be hard to keep a whippet still . (w00t)

Hi everyone,

Fern went to the vet's tonight and she has add a flush out and a new dressing put on.(still a little air under her skin by her back legs.)

It's very hard to keep her still and for just under 2 weeks, oh my god that's going to be hell (w00t)

Homer is getting very cheeky again but still not too good about going outside.

Fern has to go back again on Wednesday ,we are hoping the air will have gone by then.

We think it was PTS ,don't know about the owner haven't heard from her at all,she has my phone number and address.

My friends are keeping their eyes open in case the dog is hidden some where and then comes back,not a wise thing to do,but you know what some people get up to.
