Hi all, Thought Id update you on what poor Ozzy has been up to ovet the last few days on wednesday under a GA he had a liver shunt and an endoscopy. The shunt didnt show anything wrong with his liver  but the vet says that he had some brown spots in his tummy that looked like he may of had a bleed but there was no evidence of ulcers - vet did a biopsy and has sent this off. He then managed to get an emergency MRI booked for Oz in Cheshire so off we went yesterday taking his notes xrays etc from my vet. I had also taken my camera as I had video of Ozzy when he was well and also what he was like since he fell. To cut a long story short - after a 7 1/2 hour wait poor Ozzy staggered out after yet another GA with his little head shaved, leg and tummy shaved from previous bloods and scans but the vet said the good news was that although Ozzy had a bleed in his brain, the swelling had gone down and it had healed (w00t) , (no sign of it on the scan) the bad news was that the damage had affected his balance and coordination hence the twitching and shaking . So he still has a long way to go and we still have to wait for other blood and spinal tap results. Thanks for your words of encouragement, its really helped me cope. Keep the good vibes coming :huggles:
Tina
