all you guys that helped her have a heart of gold, its so sad at the way she was kept. she looks as if she has a very kind nature.

Awww she's so thin and so worried - lovely to see her on a comfie sofa - wonder if she's ever had a comfie anything before - so glad she's out but so sad that she was there in the first place - People who breed litter after litter should look deep into her eyes and then check out their Conscience

:( Golly she is thin isn't she? :luck: :luck: Good luck to all concerned in getting her back to full health and well done so far

'STAFF'.......How true that is Pamela

So far I have been chief bather, chef (boiled chicken and rice is favourite at the moment :D , washed down with goats milk & followed by pigs ear) and cuddler !! , :huggles: ....and Victoria whippet really deserves all the care, comfort, love and attention that she is now finally getting, she really is a total sweetheart   even after everything she must have been through :(

and as for comfy sofas, she's also rather partial to a comfy bed!!!! :- "

would it be ok if I cross posted the photo of her relaxing onto the petsireland board in the good news section. Im sure some of the rescue people there would love to see her happy ending :)

No problem with cross posting the pic, believe me there were some horrible ones taken to show her overall condition for our club rescue records, I just wouldn't post them but they will be there to remind us what she was like when we eventually get her back in tip top form.

A lot of folk helped with getting Victoria to us, whippetwise for posting the original message, Martina from Dunboyne dogs, Patricia who made it possible for her to be collected and Lynda (Ulmarra Salukis, Ireland) for actually picking her up for us.

We'll do our best for her from here on in, build her up, get her spayed and rehomed in a permanent loving home. I have to say that she doesn't give me the impression that anyone has actually been physically abusing her, she is so trusting, but you just never know, she had to get into her present condition by some means.

I have only just caught up with this, having been preoccupied with a GSD rescue issue myself this week.

 She looks a lovely girl and deserves the best ... which she is now getting!

Wish I had space for her here - Ellie would love a whippet pal to curl up with!
