I have only just caught up with this, having been preoccupied with a GSD rescue issue myself this week.

We know that this is a whippet forum but perhaps you could spread the word about this lovely boy for us. We have posted his story on 2 GSD forums, but we know that lots of you like Shepherds too!

We have a similar problem here - there's 70 acres at the back of our house which would be fantastic if only .....
.... the council hadn't decided to divide the area with barbed wire fences, put ponies on it last year who broke the fences down so that they are lying in the grass and now local...

Our old Shih-Tzu tetley has a grade 5 murmur and the vet hasn't medicated her - she is almost 13, walks every day and rules the house!
Lacks a bit of weight but that seems to be the only problem with her

We have an elderly Shih-Tzu called Tetley who is truly queen of the house - rules Whippets and Shepherds no bother!
She is coming up 13 and is generally in good health - few teeth taken out and a heart murmour since a pup, but checked out by...

I agree too - last went to Crufts in 2006 and hated every minute on the benches with the public crowding through and overheating the place.
It is more like the ideal home exhibition than a dog show!! :angry:
Perhaps exhibitors should be putting a petition together to send to the KC ...

My Ellie is just 6 months old. She walks up the hill on her lead and back down again a couple of times a week. She has had a couple of longer (steady) walks but they're not regular at all...
