Hi everyone

I have just spoken with the vets we were going to see her but she would have to be brought out to us because of the health and safety issues, but I don't want her to be taken off the drip and moved although I am desperate to see her :(

She is a little perkier in herself and has eaten a little, she has a little movement in one of her back legs and her tail which is a good sign, she is comfortable and is being given regular pain relief.

The xrays show that she has compressed some of her vertabrae and its a matter of waiting to see what time and medicine brings over the next 48 hours, I will be ringing again this evening and I'll let you know

Hang on to that positive bit of movement Lesley - and hang on in there full stop - it must be a terrible time for you and your family - thinking about you all lots and well done for making the tough but right decision not to see her today

:huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

stay positive hun , the whole of k9 are praying for you :huggles: :huggles:

hang in there lesley ..believe me she'l pull through with alot of tlc and they tend to recover faster at home

sound like she has the same sort of injury as Peggy

Peggy had her her accident on the sunday witnessed by several people..had to leave her at the local vet then transfered the GW in swindon for an Mri and then my greyhound vet took over once i picked her up on the wed

i stayed and slept with her for 2wks( she certainly couldnt walk anywhere) when she was home and very slowly she started to walk the R hind took longer dragging her toes on the process..spoke to many people as i could for reassurance and even now im still looking for a miracle cure to help mend the damaged nerves

but shes walking/running ...and so will sienna in time :huggles:

thinking of you at this distressing time  :huggles:

So glad she's got some slight improvement. :huggles: :huggles: Thinking of you. :huggles:

Sending all the positive thoughts I can muster. xxx

Rang at 6.30 and spoke to the nurse who was with her when she came in yesterday, she said although she didnt want to get my hopes too high with it being such early days she is very pleased with her progress so far :)

Sienna is eating very well and isn't stressed she's very comfy, they are going to knock her painkiller down a bit because its really high and it is making her really drowsy but she will still get pain relief they just want to see if she might respond a bit more when she's more awake.

I am going to ring before I go to bed
