She looks like a very capable mum. Do you give her anything different in her diet while she has the puppies?

Nothing different in her diet, just more of it as the puppies grow and require more milk.
She is on an all raw diet with plenty of variety, there should be nothing else required.

All home with mum now. Sika was very hungry and thirsty, she missed breakfast today but the vets did feed her a small amount of kibble. She has had a small feed at normal time since she has been home (some nice wet green tripe).
All settled under the stairs now.

look at her she's knackered, she looks so content and happy! I love the puppies tails with the tips on a few! she will be such a good mum! Will you be keeping any? Lovely lot you have!

I use this site, @Josie Your Smileys. Free Additional Smileys for Forums. Beautiful Dolls Though I don't know anything about installing smilies on forums and whether there's any copyright issues involved.

How did the first night go @excuseme ??

We had a very easy first night, mum was still very quiet after her operation, all puppies were carefully lined up along the "milk bar" and attended to by mum when required. Sika is very careful when moving about and finding a new comfortable position, she looks before she sits, checking to see where the puppies are.

We have all caught up on our 2 nights of lost sleep.
We have an appointment with our vet tomorrow.

We've just had another good 24hrs. You would never have known what Sika had gone through to get her last puppy.
She does not wear a bucket/hood to stop her from worrying the stitches, it's almost as if she doesn't know they are there!
We ore off to see the vet soon for check up.
